A wonderful place for Paella by the sea
Our cruise begins in our home port of Barcelona where the shuttle bus from the ship drops us off at the beginning of Las Ramblas.

Paul and I arrived after flying almost 20 hours or more from Honolulu (via San Francisco and London). Thank goodness for our hotel. It was right on the upper Las Ramblas, where all the theaters let out. We walked to Gaudi's cathedral in the rain and got drenched. It didn't matter. We were here!
And we further explored Gaudi's mind...for condos.
I had a visit from a couple from Paris, Sean and Alberto. We walked and talked everywhere in the city. Besides coffee to start our day off, we also had paella by the sea.
