But alas, the Patriot is gone.

Paul and I went to her garage sale a couple of weeks ago.  The Bankruptcy Trustee had her insides emptied out and bargain hunters (like us) waited in long lines to buy sweat shirts and other souvenirs for half price.

I miss the people.  The folks in the entertainment department, and especially the revue cast who sang in my room.  I remember the wonderfully gentle passengers who made me feel good about working there.  I really liked who I was when I was on the Patriot.  I think it's because these folks saw me in my best light.

I don't have any photos of the crew or passengers.

I've learned since then that these things are important.  But then, so is keeping in touch.  And I have kept in touch with some of the friends who made my first ship such a wonderful experience.

If you were on the Patriot, please send me an email at info@mattyee.com , and let's keep in touch.
