We spent several days in Hamburg, visiting the city and prepping for the voyages to come. In the meantime, construction was being completed. We lived in a construction zone, hard hats and all. Big cranes would lift supplies and materials to the top deck for distribution down below.

As the handover from the shipyard neared, the ship looked and became more and more operational. We went from a construction zone to a first class cruiseship, the biggest cruise ship in the world, very fast.
