THE EXPLORER OF THE SEAS:  

APRIL-JULY 2002  &  MARCH-APRIL 2008           

The Explorer was Matt's first "big" ship in 2002.  In fact, it was the biggest ship in the world at that time (since surpassed by Navigator/Mariner/Freedom & Liberty).  It's so nice to return in March-April 2008.  It feels like home in a way, very familiar and a little older and better with age.

Here's a view from the Harbor at St. Thomas, USVI.

If you climb high enough into the mountains of St. Thomas, you can see all the ships (Celebrity, Carnival, Royal Caribbean) along the pier.
